Ticket sales

Tickets are available in the ticket sales offices at the Coach terminal and online. Tickets can be purchased on local and international routes.

Online ticket sales

Online ticket sales for regional intercity, local and international coach routes are provided by www.bezrindas.lv and www.mobilly.lv.

Ticket sales offices:

  • There are ticket sales offices at the coach terminal where you can buy tickets for local and international coach runs;
  • Ticket sales offices working hours on weekdays and on Saturdays are from 06:30 until 21.30, and on Sundays and State holidays — from 07:00 until 21:30;
  • Subscription tickets for JSC “Liepājas autobusu parks” routes — Riga-Daugmale, Riga-Mežsētas, Riga-Tekstilnieks (timetables available at www.1188.lv) can be purchased at the coach terminals international ticket office;
  • International ticket sales office working hours are from 08:00 until 20:00 – every working day;

Tickets for international coach runs can also be purchased at all ticket sales offices.

The methods of payment:

At ticket offices – cash and, non-cash payments with payment cards are available at ticket offices with a relevant indication on the provision of this service.

Upon receipt of the ticket, the passenger makes sure that it is issued in accordance with his order.

Advance ticket sales and reservation

On domestic coach run routes:

Advance ticket sales on domestic coach routes begin 10 days before the departure of the coach run

On international coach run routes:

Advance ticket sales on international coach routes begin 15 to 90 days before the departure of the coach run.

Ticket reservation:

  • Ticket reservation is possible at the Coach terminal’s administrator (0,50 EUR);
  • For ticket reservations, you can also call 90001111 (0.52 EUR per minute).

 Reserved tickets must be purchased:

  • For domestic routes – no later than 60 minutes before departure;
  • For international routes – not later than 24 hours before departure.

Ticket purchase by bank transfer

The procedure on how to purchase tickets using a bank transfer

  • This service is available only for legal entities.
  • A legal entity shall send an application in free form on the legal entity’s letterhead addressed to AS “Rīgas starptautiskā autoosta” (JSC Riga International Coach Terminal) by e-mail to [email protected], including the following information:
    • the date and time of the coach’s departure;
    • the name of the coach run;
    • the stop to which you want to buy a ticket;
    • the number of tickets desired;
    • requisites of the legal entity;
    • contact details of the legal entity, in case of need.
  • Applications for the purchase of tickets by bank transfer shall be accepted (on working days) no later than 3 working days (excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays) before the departure of the coach run.
  • On receiving an application, an electronically signed invoice will be prepared and sent to the e-mail address provided by the legal entity (if an original paper invoice is required, this must be stated in the application).
  • After payment, the representative of the legal entity shall receive the tickets by presenting the payment order for the payment of the invoice to the hall administrator of JSC Riga International Coach Terminal (in the passenger waiting hall on the 1st floor).
  • Tickets purchased by bank transfer must be collected no later than 24 hours before the departure of the coach run.

Ticket return policy

Wrongly purchased tickets cannot be changed. Money for the lost or damaged tickets (torn, burned, repaired, etc.) will not be refunded and the ticket will not be renewed.

 Domestic routes:

  • The electronic cash register (EKA) receipt, must be returned to the point of sale where it was purchased;
  • If the ticket is handed in at the booking office at least two hours before the departure of the coach, the passenger is entitled to get a 75% refund of the value of the ticket;
  • The value of the ticket will not be refunded if there are less than 2 hours before the departure of the coach, as well as after the departure of the coach at the scheduled time, except in the cases mentioned in Rules No.599, point 42, issued by  Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Latvia;
  • Electronically purchased tickets must be returned on the same website where the tickets were purchased or in-person to the hall administrator of JSC Riga International Coach Terminal at Prāgas iela 1 (1 Prāgas Street) not later than 2 hours before departure;
  • If the bus departure is delayed by more than 15 minutes compared to the scheduled departure, the passenger is entitled to get a 100% refund of the ticket value.

International routes:

  • The ticket, together with the electronic cash register (EKA) receipt, must be handed in at the point of sale where it was purchased. Electronically purchased tickets must be returned to the website where the tickets were purchased or in-person to the hall administrator of JSC Riga International Coach Terminal;
  • If you cancel your travel before the coach departs, the passenger shall receive an 80% refund of the ticket value;
  • The passenger is entitled to get a 100% refund of the ticket value if the coach run is cancelled by the carrier;
  • The value of the ticket shall not be refunded after the departure of the coach at the scheduled time and after the suspension of ticket sales (20 minutes before the departure of the coach).

Tickets purchased electronically

  • Electronically purchased tickets must be returned to the website where the tickets were purchased or in-person to the hall administrator of JSC Riga International Coach Terminal at Prāgas iela 1 (1 Prāgas Street) no later than 2 hours before the ticket expiry time;
  • Refunds shall be made in accordance with the refund procedures set out in paragraphs 1 and 2;
  • The money for the returned ticket will be refunded to the buyer’s bank account;
  • If one electronic ticket is purchased for several passengers (group ticket), only the whole ticket can be returned;
  • No refund of the service fee for the ticket purchase;
  • In case of loss of the printout of the electronic ticket, it can be obtained at Riga International Coach Terminal, at Prāgas iela 1 (1 Prāgas Street), from the hall administrator upon showing an identity document, but not later than 30 minutes before the departure time of the coach run, specified in the ticket.
